Starting a fertility journey is daunting. We know it can be overwhelming to navigate the various options and procedures: in-person appointments, frequent monitoring, and blood work can quickly drain your time and energy. We've heard from patients that it can be hard to continue with work, family, and hobbies when undergoing fertility care. That the burden of frequent visits, monitoring, and labs can be both taxing and disruptive.

At Sama, we act as your fertility concierge. Our Anywhere Monitoring and Virtual Appointments address barriers through white-glove service and technology, including FDA-cleared handheld ultrasound and at-home lab services. Our hope is that patients experience fewer hassles and less stress, so that they can focus on what matters most. 

The Timeline

When you choose Anywhere Monitoring, Sama delivers your treatment at home. The light gray boxes represent virtual appointments with me and our clinical team, while the green boxes represent Anywhere Monitoring (with me or another Sama health care provider guiding you through the ultrasound in real time.) As always, we're available throughout this timeline to chat via video call, phone, or text.

You may notice two dark gray boxes - these represent in-person appointments. If you are an IVF patient, over the three months of your care, you will make just two in-person visits to the clinic. For our egg freezing patients, there's just one appointment. So how do we do this? Through our proprietary back-end infrastructure, innovative technology, and partnerships across the country.

Handheld Ultrasound

The handheld ultrasound device is a game-changer in virtual fertility care. Our patients can now conduct their ultrasound scans conveniently from their home under the guidance of remote stenographers that provide real-time feedback. This technology gives patients maximum flexibility: you no longer have to worry about scheduling in-person appointments, and you aren't sacrificing reliable results for convenience.

At-Home Lab Collection

At-home blood collection is another important aspect of virtual fertility care offered by Sama. We help our patients can schedule appointments with mobile phlebotomists to collect their blood samples without leaving their homes. This service addresses the concerns of patients - many of whom worry about fitting in frequent monitoring appointments or keeping track of clinical protocols. With virtual fertility care, patients can enjoy the best of both worlds: exceptional care with flexibility.
